Number of times I've seen Creed perform: Never Favorite Creed song (and why): Arms Wide Open - It was the first song by Creed to which I took time to listen. When I first heard of Creed: My journalism students were listening to them on the radio in the classroom while we were finishing the newspaper late at night. I am NOT an alternative rock fan, but I felt something was different about Creed. My students told me they were Christian oriented while not labeling themselves as a Christian rock band. As I listened to more of Creed's music I became more impressed. The topics of the songs are meaningful -- relationship to God, fatherhood, racism, abortion, outlandish preachers, consequences of bad choices, hope, etc. Their songs reach people who would never listen to the Christian radio station or shop in the Christian listening section of Wal-Mart.  Creed related stories: Nope, I haven't gone far with my fanaticsim. Other info: I'm a teacher, but don't let that discourage anyone from addressing me. I'm pretty cool for someone my age. ;)
