Look... why are half the posts coming to the list
simply asking when Creed is coming to their town? Does everyone want in on
some inside info about the Creed concerts and various other Creed stuff?
Well, here it is (taking snippets from some of my past posts)...
Q1: When is Creed coming to
<my hometown> so I can see them for the first
time/again??????????
A1: Your guess is as good as anyone
else's. My suggestion is to keep an eye on Creed.com for any tour
announcements, and to subscribe to the WindUp e-news and Creed e-news to be kept
up to date on any additions or changes. You can do this from http://www.WindupList.com/.
Q2: Why are they not coming to <name major
city here>???
Q2: It's soooooooooo unfair that they're not
going to be in Florida/New York/Hicksville. Why is the concert ending so
soon without playing here?????????
Q2: Why don't they announce the whole tour all
at once?
A2: Common sense would play a factor here. The tour is
advertised as the "2002-2003 Weathered Tour" so my guess is that they intend on
touring into the new year. And since dates have only been released to the
end of May... well...
Also, doesn't it sound odd that they
haven't released Florida dates yet? That right there should tell you that more
dates are yet to come. Just keep an eye on Creed.com (see
Q1) and be patient. They'll release more dates when they're
ready to.
Concerts have a lot more to take into
consideration than when the fans want the band to get there. Venues tend
to be booked several months in advance... plus weather (word has it that they
want to play outdoor venues) and scheduling with other pre-arranged
events. It's never as simple as sitting down and planning a 1+ year tour
all at once.
Q3: How do I get backstage to meet Creed?
I only want to give them <expletive> and have them sign my CD's and my
<expletive>. What do I have to do?
A3: Backstage passes are usually reserved for VIP. Listen to
the radio station that is sponsoring the concert... they will usually have
give-away's sometime leading up to the show and that would be your best
chance. They won't just give them out to any person that asks (especially
with the rise in security lately) and I doubt you would be able to purchase one
online... so be wary of such places as Ebay.
Q4: I stood in line for 175 hours to try and
get General Admission tickets, and I ended up with row 195 because they said the
show was almost sold out. THAT IS SOOOOOOOOOO UNFAIR!!!!
TICKETMASTER RIPPED ME OFF!!!!
A4: Deal with it. Be glad you got
tickets. You could always go to Ebay and purchase GA tickets for $250/each
from someone that got their order processed a minute before you and limited out
with 8 tickets.
