Glad to see another new person here, perhaps one who actually has something to say about Creed's music. Getting tired of the bickering that appears to be 90% of what has come across this list since I joined a few days ago.

"Wash away those years", to me seems to be about someone who was abused in some way when they were too young, too innocent, to have the choice to say no, or to fight. The tears are a way to deal with what is undealable. I think the songwriter wrote this in order that others who have also had to deal with horrendous atrocities, will know that they are not alone, and that somewhere the answers of how to deal with it, are out there.

Would like to hear what others think about this song and others. It would be a nice change of pace for this board.

While you are all entitled to say whatever you think...freedom of speech, and all that.... isn't this is supposed to be a board discussion about Creed's music....and the sharing of how it has enriched our lives......or so I thought.
I personally feel that many of the recent postings are a cop-out.....being able to be rude and cruel to others whose faces you do not face. I don't believe Creed's philosphy would condone this type of banter.

Hello,



My name is Mandi. I am new at this so I figured I would try it. I've noticed that all most people talk about is new singles. What is going to be the new single is the question I read all the time. I love the new album. It kicks azz! My favorite cd is their prevous one Human Clay. That was actually the first cd of Creed that I bought. After I heard the whole cd, I had to get the first one. Then when Weathered came out I got it as well. I am a great fan of Creed, but Creed isnt my #1 topic of the day. I usually listen to a few songs during the day to pass my time, and when I am not in a good mood I play their songs. It helps me feel better. I donno if it does the same for others but it really helps me out. The song that questions my mind is "Wash away those years". I was wondering what the real meaning of the song ment? I have an idea but I would like another oppinoin, if you wouldnt mind. I know its a song from the way past, but like I said I am new at this and I want to learn more about what the meaning of some of the songs. Well that is all for now. I will be looking for replys laterz!
