LOL.....this was an amusing report about a concert with Creed:) LOL...i'm hoping to go in May when they get out here to CA:) Thanks for the tips on the "HigherChicks" and how the crowds are:) Going domestic must've been hard cause you were on a CreedHigh heheehe.....too bad you had to see the more than a leather strap chicks lmfao, and that comment about the big hiefer cracked me up lmao!!!!! She must've been tellin you to sit down eh??? Pls people go to concerts to let it rip, not sit around lmao!!!!:) Hunt in packs about the HChicks lmaO!! Amusing......i just saw my SNL tape of it last night and i hadn't seen them the first time on and i was like Aye Chimama cause i was glad when i started tapin i didn't miss any of them!:) Was it me or did Bullets sound better than MS on SNL??? I just got this impression that either Stapps voice was crackin, or the stage wasn't right or lights were buggin his eyes, or something was buggin Stapp but can't really put a finger on it, it was odd, anyone else notice??? But Bullets god that was well done:) AND I LOVE MS, that's why i wonder if anyone else notice anything odd about it??? Good show with them tho, esp the end thing when they say bye or nite, Stapp watchers can see him sayin "Jagger" when he was saying "Nite" hehe.....Aussiegirl, can't wait for May:) Weeeeeee:)

Well, I've just got back from Melbourne and I am still on a high from the concert last night (and will be until Creed come back!).The show opened with a Melbourne band called Crash Palace. When I found out Sevendust weren't coming I was disappointed, but Crash Palace weren't actually too bad. They played with a lot of energy and weren't bad for openers. Apart from the bad language - every second word was f*** - I could see the oldies in the crowd cringing in their seats. But hey, thats rock n roll!Creed come on in a blaze of pyromania and opened with Bullets and Freedom Fighter. They followed the set list (I'm sure everyone has seen it) although when Scott was singing Say I his voice started to crack up. I thought oh nooo, hes not going to make it through the whole show but he had a drink and was right again.I was surprised at the crowd, there were a lot of families and older people (even older than me). The mosh was pretty much going off all night, but those in the seated areas (which I had, and was spewing cause I wanted to be on the floor - my sister bought the tickets), sat fairly still until WAWO was played. I would say most of the crowd hadn't heard much of MOP and were a bit stunned.Anyway, Scotts voice cracked a few times but still had a lot of energy prancing around on the stage. He played the guitar a few times, and for one song he wore it (can't remember which song) and didn't play it! Couldn't work that one out but it looked good anyway. Mark played excellently as usual, what can you say about him except hes the best. Scotty P., you are a legend! and Brett Hestla, had so much energy, I got tired watching him!Scott didn't say much between the songs (I had read in other reviews that he liked to talk to the crowd), but he thanked the people of Melbourne and said they were the best crowd, but he probably says that every city. When the show was over I just sat there, still stunned from having the best time of my life, but my sister said we have to go cause they were packing up the gear. I then wanted to go Creed stalking, but she reminded me of my responsibilities with my family and I have to go home eventually, bugger it!I had to do the merchandising thing and my purse is now $140 lighter - just as well they don't come here too often.Anyhow, I have to go and be domestic now, clean the toilet, washing, ironing, etc. but I have my memories (and my very expensive Creed T-shirt)!If anybody can think of anything to ask, go ahead, I might remember more tomorrow. Right now, I'm stuffed.Seeyah,DebbiePS: To the big heifer sitting next to me - lighten up, you're at a rock concert, not the 3 Tenors and if I want to get up and dance and sing, I will. To all the 'Higher chicks', (they seem to hunt in packs), there is more to Creed than My Sacrifice, WAWO and Higher. To the 2 chicks walking back to their cars, you are real dickheads, you need more than a leather strap covering your boobs and stilletto heels to make a statement (that was bad fashion at its best)!
