Okay, let me get this
strait. Because you download something off Morpheus, it's no longer
stealing, but instead P2P sharing. So if I log onto Morpheus right now and
download the entire new Garth Brooks CD, I'm not in fact stealing or breaking
copyright, but instead sharing?
How about if I download an
entire Operating System or OfficeXP? I can get them from Morpheus
too. Just because they change the term doesn't make it any better... it's
still copyright infringement, and it's still theft. But thanks for the
concept. I can see people all over the world getting dragged into court
rooms for copyright infringement... "But I wasn't stealing those CD's... I was
practicing 'Peer to Peer music sharing' instead".
Quick raise of hands... how many
people around here actually know something about the copyright laws, why those
laws are in place, what they mean, and what can happen if you're caught breaking
them. Anyone? Debbi... how does Microsoft feel about people using
P2P to download WindowsXP? They're cool with it right? I mean, it's
not stealing... it's Peer to Peer Software sharing.

stealing or saving money?
On a program like Morpheus.......it is not stealing. It is peer to
peer music sharing. Is there anything wrong with that? Kinda like borrowing a
cd from a friend. Right?
