If you go to www.buzzline.com and search "Creed" (NEWS), you'll find numerous articles written about the band spanning back several years.  At least one of the articles references Marshall sort of dissing "Pearl Jam" and Eddie Vedder, comparing his writing abilities in a poor light next to Scott Stapp's.  Scott quickly attempted damage control with the press, but it was shortly after that interview with Marshall that Creed let him go.  Also, the news archives (under "Creed" search) at www.rollingstone.com and www.vh1.com has some of the same articles.
