This is such BULLSHIT Daan or whatever your name is - you simply CANNOT be serious. I mean it's uncommon to find so many on one mailing list who simply choose to ignore this fact: If you download music or any other file from the web without paying the author/publisher (unless it's freeware) - then you are a goddam thief. PERIOD.

I suspect most of us have done it at one time or another - I have. When I did - *I* was a thief, pure and simple.

Trying to rationalize things might help your conscience, but it won't change the facts. And who are you to judge whether a copyright holder is "worthy" or not. I know I would love to meet you in the business world trying to get that argument past management.

You and your ilk are pathetic fucks and that is being NICE. Have fun pirating, looser.

Dinah , I'm with you on this one.

WE HAVEN'T.

blablablablablabla.

I clearly remember when I signed up for this list to tell you I was the first who had the weathered-album, (it was released in europe earlier than in the US), and gave my little description of the songs, you all thanked me very much, telling it wasn't necessary because most of you already had heard all of the songs because they were downloadable from the internet.

except keith of course, because he probably destroyed his mop album because scott sings goddamn on it. of course, burning cd's and selling them (or giving them away) is illegal, but then, they shouln't have made them that bloody expensive. Here in holland a cd costs about 20 dollars, and I can imagine that some people just not can afford to buy all their cd's original.

It is also very much the question whether a person who pays 1 or 2 dollars for a burned cd, thinks that same cd is worth 20 dollars, so that when it could not be burned, he wouldn't have bought it anyway. Or, he thinks the cd is that good so he will buy the original cd also.

the way i see it, everybody should be able to listen to music, even those who can't afford original cd's. and I thought that that was what rock & roll was all about. If creed and wind-up are really so upset by people who copy cd's, maybe they should do something about the price of a cd. Just like they are not making enough money already with almost a million original cd's sold in one week. I don't think they have that much to complain about.

If they are not happy enough with the fact that everybody knows -and is able to listen to- their music, plus they are making a very good living out of it for themselves,  they do not diserve any money at all.

Thank you.

Daniel.
