There was also a review of "W" in our Metal Hammer magazine, and the guy wrote basically everything good about them, I think he overreacted a bit, you know like " a genius band ...,... genius album", he gave them 4,8 out of 5 points. I would pass it, but it's in Polish, so you won't understand a word :)

It would be fun to see Alex try though!! ;-))
Btw, here's a UK review of Weathered. Pretty decent one too, seriously!

It'd be real easy to hate Creed. For starters, everyone else seems to hate them (with the exception of the TEN MILLION PEOPLE who bought copies of their last album, Human Clay) and far be it from me to go against the flock. Then you have lead singer Scott Stapp who, in two recent interviews with MTV.com, compared the band to Led Zeppelin and had the balls to predict that Weathered would debut at number one...right where they want to be. Plus, they're religious and Lord knows we can't have anything positive interfering with the message of "money and ho's" found in most of today's popular music.

Okay, that entire paragraph was done with the utmost sarcasm. I'm a huge Creed fan, not afraid to admit to being a huge Creed fan, and Weathered is a perfect example of why I'm a huge Creed fan. Musically it rocks, lyrically it's poetic, and there isn't a weak track on the entire album.

The weird thing is that I can't pick out a single song that stands out from the rest as a breakthrough single. It's a lot like the N.Y. Yankees, where they don't have a single player who's the best at their position, but combined they make the best team in baseball. With Weathered, there aren't any tracks like Human Clay's "With Arms Wide Open" that'll break through as a huge single, but the eleven songs that are on the album work synergistically with each other to make an incredible album. There are still songs that stand out for me as personal favorites ("One Last Breath," "Stand Here with Me," and "Don't Stop Dancing""), but I can't even remember the last time I threw a CD in my stereo and listened to it straight through without skipping around like with Weathered. Considering I have an extremely short attention span, that says a lot:)

The first single is for "My Sacrifice," which wrestling fans will recognize from the incredible tribute video's the WWF has put together for the company, and for some individual superstars like The Undertaker and Edge.

Do yourself a favor. Forget everything you've heard about the band. Ignore the critics (except for me) and the punks running around with the backwards red ball caps. You'll be cheating yourself out of some great music if you don't.
