Thank you for taking the time to respond to this.  You are almost DEAD ON with the cost of the computer.  After the rebate, it will be $599.  I would like the best possible computer at the best price, but I don't know much about computers, and my father is the one paying for this, so I have to try to keep the cost down. :(  The description of the computer that I sent to the list is on its way already, but I believe there is a 30 day refund policy.  I am honestly so confused.  I really just want something that is reliable, not too slow, has sound, and won't break down on me after I have it for a month.  I have had the WORST luck with this computer I have now, and I am almost willing to take anything at this point.
