I'm not saying I agree with all of Anna's cavalier attitudes towards spouses and ex-spouses, but to say that because you have a child with someone automatically means that they'll forever be a part of your life is simply not true. I myself have only spoken with my ex of 4 years on less than half a dozen occasions...and we have two children together. He simply IS NOT important to my life....if he were, I would have stayed married to him. However, as Anna stated, that was only her personal opinion, and I'm not saying that Stapp doesn't have feelings for his ex...whether those are feelings of friendship, love, or just a lingering affection because she gave birth to his son.
