The main reason Sinomatic, the local band played the Fan Appreciation show on Sept 6, 2001 was because 3 Doors Down could not do the show because they were in Europe.  Therefore, Creed had to find a band for an opening slot.  They bumped American Pearl to the second opening act and decided to find a local band from Cleveland to take the first opening act slot.
