And not even a prestigious college, at that! I'm from Michigan, lived here my whole life and I've never heard of this paper. Must be a community ed sort of thing. He mentions a high school in Port Huron....a very small Michigan town.

He also seems to have some sort of hate for Grand Rapids....it's on the other side of the state...maybe he wishes he could go to college there instead.

Whatever....some of it, IF you read it with a humorous eye. But, mostly it sounds like the writer hates Christian rock, insists on putting Creed in that category, and we've all heard those kinds of people before. I'm guessing he was hoping Kid Rock's new cd (released the same day) would beat out Weathered for the number one spot!

I did some nosing around the newspaper's site. It appears to be a college
newspaper. I for one know how bad collegiate publications can be (I'm a
member of the Clarkson University Humor magazine, and all we do is bash
things, though we use the whole 'humor' angle)

I'm guessing this guy wrote this just for the reaction, so don't take it too
seriously.
