If that is the goal! I believe that it is working.

This list has always had its fair share of bickering, it hasn't gotten any worse, perhaps just you see it as such since you've been involved in more of the bickering that in the past.

Unlike some people. I still participate in a lot of the discussion groups that were setup for havens from this lists poor history of civility. It is nice to have the haven lists. But it is more important to me that this list becomes more civicly oriented.

I feel that the staff at Windup will pull the plug on this list. If there is not an improvement in common courtesies to other listers.

I honestly do NOT see that happening. They haven't closed down the BB (except to revamp for the guys to show up on it) and that is by far the worst BB I have ever seen. You do not see half the rudeness here that is over there. They flat out call people names and insult far worse than anything I have ever seen here.

They have long since ceased the contests and free ticket givaways. Which I suspect is due to the constant bickering within the list's environment.

Long since? Hell, they stopped doing that EONS ago and I know you said you won, but I don't think there were actually that many winners. I know I've been on this list forever and a day, it feels like, and I never won a thing, and I was an avid poster at that time. I don't think the list environment had anything at all to do with those contests ending, considering they stopped happening when this list was getting along really well and everyone was considered family.
