I guess they've all mellowed in there old age! I read once where Dave said he couldn't even use his own sound for Megadeth because Metallica were using "his" sound....so if he did that with Megadeth, people would say they were a Metallica rip off!

Actually, from what I've read about it, the guys all get along pretty well. Lars actually says he regrets that it came down to firing him, but it HAD to be done. And I've heard BOTH Lars and Dave say they're happy that each of the other's bands has done so well.
