You seem to be missing one important point,
Angie - why would they care if Creed was lip-synching or not if they weren't
fans? Why would people who could care less about football (Yes, I know
some people were watching for the game itself too) bother to watch the game just
so they could catch Creed? Disagreeing with a band or disliking a
performance doesn't mean you're not a fan. It means you didn't like a
performance or a decision. I can't STAND Days of the New live, and I would
never again go see them intentionally, unless they're touring with a different
band I want to see (as in both the times I HAVE had to bear their live
show). But I love their CDs, and listen to their music regularly.
Does that mean I'm only pretending to be a fan?
