I can offer an opinion, but bear in mind that it is ONLY an opinion. I think it has something to do with the "Christian rock" label that so many would like to thrust upon Creed. In many circles, Christian rock is seen as something of a bad joke, and there are plenty of people who are small-minded enough to believe that. Personally, I am a HUGE Metallica fan, and I love Creed as well. Many of my friends feel the same, and I know of no personal or professional animosity between the two bands (that doesn't mean it doesn't exist, just that it's not talked about if it does).

ok, well I don't get much dirt on creed, as I live in the UK. So can some one explain to me why it seems metallica fans, or other rock fans in general, don't like Creed? Wot is it? I love Metallica. I think they fucking rock and I don't have a bad word to say about them. But when I went on the metallica bulletin board, ppl were dissing Creed? Wots that about? I know Mark's a fan of Metallica to. Wot the deal? And ppl over here, that I've spoken too don't seem to like them either. Some one walked out the room when I mentioned them!
