So are you saying that since your musical mind "grew up" you could no longer be a fan of "pop" music? Also, do you like country music? That's music written and performed by truly talented people as well. In my opinion, it's the fans that give "pop" music a bad rep. I think that fans of "pop" music are all too often stereotyped because all you see are these screaming lunatics talking about how cute some guy's hair looks or whatever. That just makes people who actually enjoy the music look bad, it's like if you tell someone you like BSB they automatically think it's cuz you think they're cute. But if someone says they like a band like Staind, no one ever thinks it's cuz you find Aaron Lewis to be hot. Think about it, if there was a person who liked Creed cuz she thought Scott was cute, vs. a person who liked BSB because she liked their music, then who is the true music fan. I would have to say it would be the latter. Even though I see Creed as being the more talented band or the band with more substance, that particular fan had absolutely no substance. I have no clue if anything in this post has any relevance to anything, but whatever, take it for what it's worth.
