Not to nitpick, but I'm
gonna nitpick! NO member of a band is irreplaceable, provided the
remaining members are willing to continue. (Warning: Metallica reference
coming) Cliff Burton was, IMHO, the best bassist alive, with the possible
exceptions of John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) and Les Claypool (Primus, who
actually auditioned for Cliff's spot), yet eventually Jason Newsted was able to
very admirably fill Cliff's shoes. A member is only irreplaceable if the
other members of the band feel that way, as in the case of John Bonham and Led
Zeppelin.

come to

well with the

I've heard good things about
Brett Hestla, I've never been to a Creed concert, but what I've seen from
televised live performances, he seemed to fit in pretty well considering he
wasn't an "official" member of the band. Maybe if he didn't have his own
band he would be a good replacement for Brian. Please note I use the
word "replacement" for lack of a better word, because I know, no one can
replace Brian. Just thought I'd add that before I was bombarded with "Brian is
irreplaceable" emails lol
