Hey everyone:

It's been a LONG while since I have written here.  I went into lurk mode,
then unsubbed to go abroad.  A week ago I heard about what happened to
the US.  I couldn't get a flight back until recently to check up on
friends and family.  I was lucky, the only way they were letting people
fly back was if you showed them you were a resident of the US for so many
years, and have your passport handy at 4 different checkpoints.  It was a
mess.

What I observed there was incredible.  There were dozens of memorials set
up out front of the US embassy, and various other places.  The news
stations had coverage throughout the week with the latest updates.

When I came home, I was bombarded in patriotism.  The colors red white
and blue were everywhere!

Anyway, enough of that, I was wondering how everyone here was?  Everyone
accounted for? :)  I know there has to be some people here from DC and
NY, everyone ok from there?  If a personal loss has occured, I am trully
sorry for it.

What has happened lately on the list?  When I left there were a lot of
arguements going on.
