Well Jim, I don't know about the rest of Wind-up (although I can pretty much safely guess) but it affected Amercian Pearl enough that Kevin re-wrote "Bleed" about the events.
Here's the mailout from Roman (who STILL owes me my signed poster!!!) sent to all the street-teamers...
Also below is the "story" behind the re-writing of Bleed into the song "Believe"...

I've seen the wicked fruit of your vine, Destroy the man who lacks a strong mind
Human pride sings a vengeful song Inspired by the times you've been walked on
My stage is shared by many millions, Who lift their hands up high because they feel this
We are one We are strong, The more you hold us down the more we press on
What if you did? What if you lied? What if I avenge? What if eye for an eye?

American Pearl Street Teamers -

I hope that you and your families and friends are well and were left unscathed by last week's tragedy.

Here's some news from the American Pearl front:

Kevin Roentgen from American Pearl was deeply affected by the horror inflicted by the terrorists on the United States last week. He was so inspired that he re-worked his song "Bleed" to capture his sentiments and re-titled the song "Believe".

You can download this song tonight from the American Pearl
website and read the story behind the song.

Peace.

Roman
**********************************************************
In the wake of the September 11 tragedy in New York and Washington D.C., American Pearl's Kevin Roentgen and Wind-up's Chairman Alan Meltzer have co-written a track called "Believe". Following the attacks on U.S. soil, Kevin was in contact with Meltzer. "We both felt so vulnerable," said Roentgen. "Together, we decided to channel our bitterness, anger and frustration into a call for hope and unity."
The result, "Believe", was recorded in Los Angeles Monday, September 17th and is being electronically distributed to radio stations around the country.
American Pearl and Wind-Up Records have decided to release this song as an MP3 so everyone who wishes can have it free of charge. Charitable donations may be made through participating radio stations and on-line retailers who offer the download, or by visiting www.helping.org.
