It is a wonderful write-up, but I feel that I should mention that before it gets passed further, he didn't write it in regards to the recent happenings in New York, or Washington, or anywhere else that anything has happened in the United States recently.  Gordon Sinclair wrote this June 5th, 1973, and passed away in 1984.
George Sinclair was a radio commentator for CFRB in Toronto, Canada, and this was what he had wrote for his "Lets Be Personal" spot that day.  He wrote it to defend the US from all the critics around the world regarding the US involvement in the Vietnam war, which had ended 6 months prior.
Although it seems fitting to this event, and although many Canadian newspapers still run this editorial every July 4th as a tribute to the US, it is unfortunately unrelated to these events.
I am sorry to be correcting at a time like this, but I feel that if something is going to be passed, that the correct story should be going with it.

This is one of the best editorials that I have ever
read regarding the United States. It is nice that one
man realizes it. I only wish that the rest of the
world would realize it. We are always blamed for
everything, and never even get a thank you for the
things we do.
Maybe each of you can send this to at least one person
and they might send it to one of their friends until this letter is sent to every person on the web.
I am just a single American that has read this,
I SURE HOPE THAT A LOT MORE READ IT SOON.
