Subject: Re: WAS Re: NCR: ABSOLUTELY STUNNED - NOW Pointless teasingMy grandpa was a drill instructor (or sergeant... I can't remember which is for what branch) in the Navy, and carried that attitude into his home life. My dad was in the Navy, but I don't know him well enough to say what he's like. And my ex-husband was in the Army for a short time - he left before he finished basic, though, when a wall locker fell on him and crushed his foot - he opted to leave rather than be recycled. But he hated it anyway, and I don't think he has the right personality for the military - too much of a free spirit mindset. I wanted to join the Peace Corps, but decided against it when I became pregnant with my oldest son. Since I have three military branches covered in three generations of male relatives, think that means my son will join the Air Force?Tara*hoping not*
