For instance, I actually had it WRITTEN IN MY CONTRACT to receive stateside station of choice.  My choice?  Fort Benning, GA, because it was the closest to home (home being Jacksonville, FL).  So where did I end up?  Fort Carson, CO.  "Hey assholes, this doesn't look like Georgia to ME!"
 
Their answer?  "Well, you needed to have your actual CHOICE written in to your contract."  Thanks friendly recruiter!
