This isn't the first time she's left though.... she left a while back during the election fights, because of the... well, fights. Some of the attacks during that were directed at her without warrant (she had neither said nor done anything to deserve the attacks) and she decided that the list had started to become over-run with people who would rather fight and argue than hold a real conversation.

I'm sure that she'll come back closer to the release date... but as to whether she'll stay long or not, I don't know. I imagine that if things are going the same then as they are now, she won't be around for long.

I would like to point out that I too have been wondering what happened to Mad, and it was pointed out just a short while back that she had been taking care of "real" (as opposed to "virtual") life matters. I did indeed take Mad to task for some comments, but was able to refrain from the depths to which I sank with Jim, and the vast majority of my taking Mad to task was done privately.
