It's been released to manufacturing, which means that computer manufacturers will begin loading it on new computers.  It will be released in its retail form in October.  The 25th iirc.

Okay, I havent really been reading the windows posts, and it might have been
mentioned already,  but when is the release time for XP? I am really looking
forward to upgrading, since I have heard alot of good things about it.
