Semi Automatic & Automatic guns were outlawed secondly where did you get your statistics from & thirdly do you have any proof that there is a link between the removal of guns & increases in crime rates cause I think you are wrong. I live here as well & it was generally accepted & pushed especially after Port Arthur.
