So, did you see the re-release in theaters last year? Personally, I found it rather ironic that the mostly teen-age audience LAUGHED their way through most of "The scariest movie of all time!" (I first saw it when I was 10, and it remains the ONLY movie that truly frightened me).

yes, that is very unusual, the movie for the most part was very true to the
book, and still freaks me out to this day.
