Which homeland would that be?

Russian in Alaska?
Spanish or French in Texas?
French in Louisiana?
Spanish in Florida?
Navajo in Oklahoma?

Forgive me, but I can't let a comment like that slide.  "our homeland" is based on a false belief that we all share a common ancestry.

I guess, but this is America right? Aren't we supposed to be speaking
our homelands language?  But, despie this, it's much more "nifty" when you
speak more than one language.  In my case, Iw asn't forced to learn a second
language, it's just that practically everyone in my family and alot of my
friends spoke it, except for me.  So I decided to learn on my own terms
(which kinda sucks cause my spanish is really jacked up. They call it
"spanglish")
