Well Trunks, most people would do the
proper thing and actually unsubscribe from the list that they signed up for, but
I can tell that it would be to complex for you... always better to e-mail
someone on the list and try (in vain, I might add) to get them to do it for
you.
It's truly amazing the number of
people who fail to read the "welcome to the Creedlist" e-mail that they get when
they subscribe... and all of them have to actually subscribe, and confirm it, or
else they wouldn't be here...
Since I feel like being a nice guy
for ya, Trucks, I'll explain this once... and only once, in a language that you
might understand. A copy will be going to the list as well, for the
benefit of anyone else who may have signed up but couldn't be bothered to
actually read any instructions.
- GO TO HTTP://WWW.WINDUPLIST.COM/LS/DISCUSS/FORM.ASP, AND SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE. IN THE
FIRST SPACE, ENTER IN THE E-MAIL ADDRESS THAT YOU HAVE SUBSCRIBED TO THE CREED
DISCUSSION LIST.
- IN THE SECOND SPACE, SELECT "CREED"
IF IT ISN'T ALREADY PRE-SELECTED (YOU HAVE CREED, AND FINGER11... USE
COMMON SENSE)
- IN THE THIRD SPACE, SELECT "UNSUB"
(IT'S THE DEFAULT... YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO CHANGE ANYTHING HERE)
- CLICK ON "SUBMIT"
- WATCH FOR A CONFIRMATION
E-MAIL
- WHEN YOU GET THE CONFIRMATION
E-MAIL, SELECT "REPLY"
- CLEAR ALL OF THE TEXT IN THE
E-MAIL, BUT LEAVE THE "TO" LINE AND THE "SUBJECT" ALONE. AFTER YOU HAVE
CLEARED ALL THE TEXT, TYPE IN "OK" (MINUS THE QUOTATION MARKS, THAT IS)
- HIT "SEND"
- WATCH FOR A FINAL E-MAIL ANNOUNCING
TO YOU THAT YOUR ADDRESS HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE LIST
- STOP SIGNING YOURSELF UP FOR
THINGS THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO BE A PART OF AND/OR DON'T KNOW HOW TO REMOVE
YOURSELF FROM... IF YOU DON'T READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR SOMETHING YOU SIGN UP
FOR, THEN BY ALL RIGHTS, YOU SHOULD BE STUCK ON THAT LIST
FOREVER.
