POPULAR...okay?  If it's rock and it's popular, than it's pop rock!!!!!  
everyone hears the word "pop" and automatically thinks of britney spears or
nsync.  BTW:  Creed is considered pop rock...sorry guys.  don't argue with
me...i'm a music industry and business major.
