Being sent the virus is one thing.  opening it and letting it infect your machine and network is another.

I think someone has sent me a virus.  PLEASE check your computer for viruses!  I am sorry if I sent anyone a virus. If I did of course I never meant to. I am not sure if I have a virus or not.    I am running my scan right now but I just wanted to tell everyone right away since it is a strong possibility! 
   again, If there was a virus sent I am sorry.
