I don't think it's a 'must have' and I'm sure they could do a little more to curb it, but I applaud the effort to limit the damage that can be doing.

I just think it's a level of maturity of the fans.  When I saw KISS a few years ago (what an INCREDIBLE show! -- truly entertainers) there was none of that -- just people of all ages (even kids that probably hadn't even heard of them and were just there with their parents!) enjoying the show and the music (and everyone knows with KISS, it's 80% the Show, 20% the Music :) )

Good point, Jon, but unfortunately not ALL fans are as concientious(sp) as they should be.  It seems to have become almost a must that ANY rock concert have a mosh pit, and I agree with the band's idea of reserving a "family section".

But really, why would there be a pit at a Creed concert?  Creed inspires everything BUT aggression and anger and the need to beat people about the head.

Hockey takes care of that :)

Nice to hear that Scott wants to work out an alternative for families and such.
