No.  There used to be a small little chain called 'New York Fries' where you could get a bucket of fries (which, admittedly, were pretty darn good) with gravy, cheese, or whatever you wanted to dip them in.
 
The running joke for a while was that, since it said 'New York', that some lucky person would find either a finger or a rat as the surprise at the bottom of the bucket.
