Everyone I spoke to thought it was Pearl Jam originally. I thought it was Vedder originally until the radio DJs started making fun of them. Then I became enlightened.

I'm guessing enough people heard of Creed before Human Clay considering Human
Clay debuted at #1. Not too many "little known" bands do that.
