Hey Brianna ! In my case it
was like that:
1) I saw "HC" as a no.1 on
Billboard chart and I thought: "who's that????". Then I saw the video for
"Higher" and I thought this singer has a great voice. And then - that's it.
After that "higher" was often played on Viva 2 (German music tv) and I liked the
song. But after I heard "What if" I went to the store and I bought "HC", like 2
weeks later I got "MOP"...And so it was.
2) I can't say they changed
my life very much, but the lyrics made me think about a lot of things, also I
agree a lot with what Scott is trying to say or maybe I just interprate them in
my own personal way. I can say I'm a little different person, maybe "better"
:)... I love the message, I think since they have their 5 minutes they don't
waste their time for "nookies" or things like that.
3) That's cool ! I was
thinking about that too! I love the guitar (yeah Mark's ) in "Beautiful" right
after "but beautiful is empty...beautiful is free..." and solo in "Pity for a
dime", and I love the line in "Unforgiven" - "step inside and see the fear of
God burning inside of me". Probably there were some more, but I can't remember
right now...

I used to have a lot of problems with myself. My
self-esteem was pretty low, and i always felt alone. I started listening
to Creed just after i hit my lowest point ever. Human Clay is like the
story of my life. I feel better about myself nowadays, and I think it has
a lot to do with Scott's lyrics and Mark's music.
