Nice red herring, but you're still not making a valid argument.  Are you
really trying to equate actions that people took in 1750 with stealing
intellectual property in 2001?  Besides, "we've always done it and everyone
else does it" doesn't come close to explaining why it's acceptable.   


And if prices weren't so damn high in the first place, it
probably would tempt less people to make illegal copies.
 


I guess I'll remember that the next time I put gas in my car.   I'll just
steal it.  I mean, the oil companies have plenty of money, right?  and I
wouldn't be tempted to steal gas if the price weren't so high.  Using your
logic, that makes everything A-OKAY.





Ok, both of you should know better by now.  Take this private.  We have gone
quite some time without any arguments.  And you should know with anything
political, everyone has their own opinion.  Other people are going to read
this and state their own opinions and then everyone will be upset.  Please
