HUMAN CLAY ALBUM NEARS DIAMOND CERTIFICATION FOR SALES OF TEN
MILLION COPIES | |
New York --- Wind-up Records is pleased to
announce the third studio recording from Creed will be released on
November 20, 2001. The band will enter the studio in early-July with John
Kurzweg once again producing. Guitarist Mark Tremonti mentioned, "We are
very excited about the new material and going back into the studio with
Kurzweg. The band can't wait to return to the road to play the new songs
live for our fans." The third release follows an amazing four years for Creed. The band has sold in excess of sixteen million albums in the U.S., received a Grammy, and performed for more than one million fans in the year 2000. Most importantly, they have built a legion of fans the old-fashioned way - through hard work and the offering of great songs that have struck a chord among millions. Creed's 1999 Wind-up Records' release Human Clay is approaching Diamond certification by the R.I.A.A. for sales of ten million copies. This would mark the 82nd time a record has crossed this monumental U.S. sales threshold in history. The band's debut album My Own Prison has now sold over five million copies domestically. |
