Urbanlegends.about.com is another good one, and they update really regularly... whenever someone sends me a virus warning (or a story about a someone being dead for 5 days, or the one about the guy who got eaten by an alligator, or the guy who has an 82 pound cat, and so on...), I usually check that site first, and then check snopes for confirmation.  Scott also mentioned that http://www.antivirus.com/vinfo/hoaxes/hoax.asp is a good site to check to see if a virus warning is real or not.

I always check stuff like that out.  I got burned by the "guy was dead at work for 5 days before being found" one.  I still can't believe that I actually fell for it.
