I'm glad that the spirit of a God has helped you with being able to walk
again and to get your memory back.
I also know what you are talking about with trauma leading to
experiencing God.
I believe in a God, since I had a similar experience with a trauma that
I went through.
The strange thing is that I asked for God's help before asking for any
earthly help. A voice told me to go towards the sounds. Where I found
help. Also the force gave me the energy needed to get to help.
Anyway, the God that I see is not one to kill, he is one to direct and
one to be a part of the inner self of a person. God never asked me to
sacrifice animals, kill anything or give 10 percent of my earnings to God.
It is more of a relationship of one to one. With the only thing needed
is to trust in him for things that are not humanly possible and things
that are more of a guidance through knowledge.
I feel that you were probably feeling the real spirit.
I'm glad that you got your memories back and hope your walking is much
better.
But as to what the others say about God. Who would use it just to
control or gain wealth. I don't agree with.
My prayers go out to you for getting the inner peace needed to become
whole. Granted it is not a structured faith with a popular God. But at
least I know that he is no less questioning and helpful because of my
outlook on him.
I guess the Creed song "Inside Us All" would best describe my feelings
towards a super being.
Thanks for respecting my thoughts and your other comments.
Jim
