Tape Trading
I'm not to certain about tape trading, but I'm
pretty sure that they're against Napster-like concepts (quickly hiding his full
collection of Creed MP3's)... are you refering to trading your MOP and Human
Clay cassettes/CD's with your friends, or are you refering to taped performances
of them from TV? Personally, I don't see how they could be against the
lending of CD's and cassettes for the purpose of spreading their music out to
new fans who would potentially purchase the CD/cassette themselves, as long as a
bootlog copy isn't made in the process... I mean, it would help to expand not
only their fan base, but also their sales. But as I said before, all I
know of for sure is that they don't like Napster, or any other program/company
resembling the sharing of copywritten material. But with
the collection of Creed MP3's that I have, I don't see the need in myself
visiting Napster for Creed music for a long long time...

Subject: Tape Trading
(sorry about my last post - this touchpad on
my computer likes to hit the send button which is in the same place as the
"new mail" button *sigh*)
Does anyone here know if it's true that
Creed's stance on tape trading is that they don't really mind as long as a
profit isn't being made from it. I heard that, but before I start
trading with people I want to make sure that it's not going to be a
problem. I don't want to disrespect their wishes and I know some bands
allow it and others don't.
Thanks.
