Well, I really can't tell you much actually, just a little as possible, just
to give you a taste.  There's reason behind this, so let me explain why.  The
religion is not against Christianity, but against restriction, and the word
of sin is restriction.  They beleive you should be able to do your true
desires, without being condemmed, because we are not evil, or sinners, we are
all stars in the sky, unique in every way.  We should be able to pursue our
inner dreams without feeling guilt, or like we are sinning.  THat doesn't
mean that you should be able to do what ever you want, on a physical level,
but it does mean to pursue your inner desires of accomplishing certain goals,
without being worried you are sinfull, or wrong.  Because, we are not
sinners.  We are all beautiful in our own special way, and thats what makes
us all part of each other, because we are all a star in the whole of the sky
(that was a metaphor if you didn't catch that).  But, you mignt want to ask
about people like child molesters and rapists and peole who are just purely
evil.  THe only way I can explain that, is that their souls haven't
progressed yet.  They are still on a low plane, spiritualy, and one day,
maybe in there next life, they'll progress.  I really cant explain more
because they beleive that after reading The Book of Law (the prophecy about
Thelema) you should take it in on your own grounds, and understand it in
your own mind, w/o limitation, or w/o being tainted by by someone elses
exsplanations.  Plus, it's so deep that it's really hard to put it in words.
It's probably  impossible..
I'm not saying it's perfect, and that it's better than anything else, or
to delve into it.  I think it's something you have to feel inside yourself.
For me, it gives me the most inner freedom, and the most peace I have ever
had the privelage to exsperience.  Thelema is truly inside of me, and I know
that I am a part of it, and it's a part of me. But, if Christianity and it's
ideals please you, then stick with it.  What ever works, right?
Until then, Love is the Law Love Under Will
