Napster Action Network Bulletin
2001.03.30
.....................................................
Dear Napster Action Network (NAN) Members,
Thanks for your interest in helping to make the Napster community's
voice heard in Washington, D.C. The recording industry is
continuing to try to shut Napster down. But we can preserve the
Napster community and music file sharing if we all get involved and
make our voices heard!
On April 3rd, the Senate Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing
about Napster and the future of digital music. It's important for
Congress to hear from you! A lot of Napster Action Network members
are coming to Washington for the hearing. But even if you can't
come, you can help in two simple but very important ways.
First, you can call your United States Senator. They do listen to
their constituents, IF they hear from them, so please take the time
to make a quick call. You can also help increase support for Napster and music file
sharing by helping to educate your community about Napster. One of
the best ways to do that is to send a letter to the editor of your
newspaper. That will help spread the word in your area about how
important Napster is to people in your community.
You can find all the relevant information on Napster events in
Washington D.C. at the April 3rd Napster Action Center:

Thanks for your support and remember, the only way to make a
difference is to GET INVOLVED.
