Well Agie,

For a fan that was introduced to Creed through Higher. It is good to talk with you about your other music. Being that you are a fan from another nation even makes it even more interesting.
The qualities of MOP that I like are the sarcasm. The songs that you can really set your imagine loose on and of course Scott's voice. Brian's Bass playing, Marks lead guitar passages. For Brian, It took me a little time to get used to his style. Because it still doesn't jive with my lines of rhythm. But, I enjoy listening to different drum styles. He impressed Mark and Scott enough with his jamming with Mark according to the VH1 show.
About MOP, I didn't like ODE that well. It didn't apeal to me a lot. The songs that I enjoyed the most on the album were MOP, America, Sister and One. Torn and ODE really didn't appeal to me at first shot.
But the MOP album stayed in my CD player for over a year. A lot of it was due to other Creed fans, promoters at Wind-up, Attic, the relatively low cost showa. The shows that I got to see through list contests and of course their music and live performances.
HC was a little lower keyed. They toured with bands that are totally out of my ideals of music. (SD for instance). Fortunately, the show was rescheduled and the other bands "Local H" and UPO were more to my liking.
One of my greatest disappointments of the concerts were the rescheduling of the shows. Which caused a lot of the people that I was talking to before the local show to forget about the band. This seemed to be due to the people having to travel a lot further than I did and making reservations, scheduling time off work and so forth.
For me,  it caused inconvienience for me to take my wife to the show. Since it would of interfered with her work. But, the advantage to it was that I could return the way off in the distance tickets and manage to get a floor ticket for the show. I was there by myself. But, at least I managed to have a good time at the show.

About the new album, tour and stuff. I hope that there is more band, label and fan interaction. Plus more promotional tickets, contests. Less rescheduled shows and more compatible tour mates for the shows. I'd like to see Brother Cane, 7M3, Live, Fuel (again), 3DD, Cold or bands in that general 'smooth" musical style. - Jim Cornette

I'm gonna reply to Tara's post here as well- I totally agree with you when it comes to those people - they just want get some reaction, so let's ignore them. I still consider myself as a "Higher fan", it's all have started because of "Higher". But after I have bought the cds I know there are better songs on the album than "WAWO". Don't get me wrong, those songs are great, but don't you have this feeling like you would like to choose something else for the single, like for example I would chooose "Beautiful". It was the first song, that has made such a big impression on me. I've loved it since I've first heard it. And there are other Creed's songs, that mean to me much more because of the lyrics, but "Beautiful" will still remain as a song with this unbelievable sound that "drives me crazy":) (in a good way of course). And this is also great, that after you bought cd, you listen to it and you see it was worth to buy it, that there are a lot of better songs there, not just a cd with one great tune and you need to get used to to the rest of the album. When I bought "MOP" I remember it clearly I didn't like much "Ode" (musically) and now I love it, I think this is one of the best songs there. A lot of people think that Creed is just a band like "WAWO" or "Higher" tunes and when I give them the cd they're telling me - "hey!it's a really rock album".
When it comes to the new album - I'm just little affraid, that it may sound little like "HC" type of songs, with this slow begining and harder ending. I would like them to do some harder stuff , because then they don't forget about great melodies, guitar sounds and it has always good rhythm (this last one sounds probably weird, but really there are some songs, that I can't find rhythm in there, lol! - but you know me...) What do you think about some more piano sound ? Could be nice, like on "WTLF". But I think I don't have to worry about the similar sound, since "MOP" and "HC" are so different...

There's No Way Out Of Here -(K. Baker)

There's no way out of here, When you come in, You're in for good,
There was no promise made,The part you played,The chance you took
There are no boundaries set, The time and yet,You waste it still,
So it slips through your hands,Like grains of sand, You watch it go
There's no time to be lost,You'll pay the cost,So get it right,
There's no way out of here,When you come in, You're in for good,
There never was there an answer,There an answer,Not without listening,Without seeing
There are no answers here,When you look out,You don't see in,
There was no promise made,The part you played,The chance you took
There's no way out of here, When you come in,You're in for good,
There never was there an answer,There an answer,Not without listening,Without seeing,
There's no way out of here,When you come in,You're in for good
There was no promise made,The part you played,The chance you took
There's no way out of here,When you come in,You're in for good
There's no way out of here,When you come in,You're in for good
There are no answers here,When you look out,You don't see in,
