*Shrug*
No one insulted me when I first came here... I also
didn't do any of the following:
1. Open with an inane question.
"Hi! I just joined the list and I was wondering if
anyone knew if Creed was going to be coming to Grisey Ridge to play the annual
Sling Shot Turkey Shoot festival?"
"How do I unsubscribe?"
2. I didn't use the phrase "CREED
ROOOOOCKS!"
3. I didn't lurk for a couple hours and introduce
myself by way of insult to the rest of the list.
"I just subscribed and I just thought I'd tell you
that you're all mean and you all suck."
4. I DID follow the instructions
on creed.com. I subscribed and promptly introduced myself and told a brief story
about how I got into Creed's music.
You don't suppose that any of those things or a
combination thereof had anything to do with me not getting flamed after my first
post, do you?
(oh, that last line was, in fact, sarcastic - just
thought I'd make that clear)

I'd like to see examples
of someone getting yelled at for saying "hello". Use both sides of the
paper, if necessary. If you can't provide them, STFU because your
memory is too short to mesh with reality. Nobody gets flamed for
saying they're new to the list or for saying hello. At least by the
usual suspects. I have, however seen lurkers and other newbies flame
for sending "NCR" content in the form of "hihowareya's"
there have been alot of newbies that have posted and
people have insulted them off the bat instead of welcoming them, or wait, I
should say being sarcastic, no, nobody on here is being insulting, its all
sarcasm. And thank you for telling me that my memory is too short, as usual
you think you know everything, so why don't you STFU.
