I was really pleased with the number of songs off
of MOP they actually did in Boston. Four total, IIRC (although I
would so much liked to have heard "Ode" done live). But Scott throws so much
passion into his performances it's hard to single out any particular song and
say "I wouldn't have cared if they did it or not." Those songs are designed to
make you care about them and seeing how Scott delivers his songs just adds
a whole other dimension to it. I was absolutely blown away just watching him
sing MOP and WTLF. My biggest fear now is that as they put out more albums the
MOP material will just vanish into oblivion. I'd hate to see that
happen.... Oh, and I was also pleased to see that he nailed the lyrics to
MOP - I hear he forgets them sometimes (he did on VH1 Opening Night
Live).
