I don't know if that is necessarily true. I do not own a Pearl Jam cd, and when I first heard MOP on the radio, I had no idea who it was, but I never thought for a minute it was Pearl Jam. Instead, I kept listening to the radio hoping that the DJ would tell me who this band was, so that I could run out to the store to buy the CD.
